Privacy Policy

Effective Date: October 4, 2025

This Privacy Policy describes how ChinaMVP.ai ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and discloses your personal information when you visit our website at www.chinamvp.ai, use our services, and interact with us. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

1. Information We Collect

When you use our services or interact with our platforms (including our website, local landing pages, WeChat channels, and other Chinese social media platforms we manage), we may collect the following types of information:

1.1 Information Provided by You (Our Clients)

As an overseas AI/SaaS company (our "Client"), when you engage ChinaMVP.ai, you may provide us with:

  • Contact Information: Your name, company name, email address, phone number, and physical address.
  • Account & Service Information: Details about your AI/SaaS product, service agreements, billing information (e.g., credit card details, processed via secure third-party payment gateways), and login credentials for platforms you authorize us to manage on your behalf (e.g., your official social media accounts, content management systems).
  • Communication Content: Any information you provide when communicating with us for support, inquiries, or feedback.

1.2 Information Provided by End-Users (Your Customers in China)

When end-users in China ("End-Users") interact with the Chinese market infrastructure and channels we manage on your behalf, we may collect information about them. This information is primarily collected on your behalf, as our Client, and is then processed and often transferred to you.

  • Direct Interaction Data: Information End-Users provide when registering for your service via our managed landing pages, making purchases through local payment gateways (e.g., WeChat Pay, Alipay), or interacting with our managed customer support (WeChat groups, knowledge base, etc.). This may include name, WeChat ID, phone number, email address, purchase history, and product usage data.
  • Usage Data: Information about how End-Users access and use the channels we manage for you, including IP address, device information, browser type, pages visited, time spent on pages, referral sources, and interactions with content (e.g., likes, comments on WeChat, Xiaohongshu, Douyin).
  • Local Payment Data: Transaction details when End-Users make payments through our integrated local payment solutions. We act as an intermediary to collect RMB on your behalf and remit USD to you. We do not store sensitive payment card details; these are handled by secure third-party payment processors.

1.3 Information Collected Automatically (from all users)

Cookies and Tracking Technologies: We use cookies and similar tracking technologies (e.g., pixels, web beacons) to track activity on our website and to hold certain information. This helps us understand user behavior, manage your social media content distribution, and fulfill our guaranteed exposure commitments. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for various purposes:

2.1 For Our Clients (Overseas AI/SaaS Companies):

  • Service Provision: To provide, operate, and maintain the China market launch and management services as per our agreement.
  • Account Management: To manage your account, process payments, and provide billing information.
  • Communication: To communicate with you regarding our services, updates, support, and strategic recommendations.
  • Performance Reporting: To provide monthly data reports on market performance, exposure, conversions, and user feedback.
  • Contractual Fulfillment: To fulfill our contractual obligations, including guaranteeing KOC video output and exposure numbers.
  • Marketing: To send you updates about our services or relevant market insights.

2.2 For End-Users (Your Customers in China):

  • On Your Behalf: Primarily, we process End-User data on behalf of our Clients to enable their product/service delivery in China. This includes facilitating registrations, processing payments, providing localized customer support, and distributing relevant content.
  • Service Improvement: To analyze usage patterns to improve the effectiveness of the managed Chinese market channels.
  • Compliance & Security: To comply with legal obligations, enforce our terms of service, and protect our rights, privacy, safety, or property, and that of our users or others.

3. Sharing and Disclosure of Information

We only share information as follows:

  • With Our Clients: We share End-User data collected through our managed channels (e.g., sales leads, customer feedback, usage metrics) directly with our Clients, as we act as their market extension in China.
  • Service Providers: We may share information with third-party vendors, consultants, and other service providers who perform services for us or on our behalf, such as payment processing, data analytics, hosting, email delivery, and CRM. These providers are bound by confidentiality obligations and are prohibited from using your personal information for any purpose other than to provide services on our behalf.
  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your personal information may be transferred. We will provide notice before your Personal Information is transferred and becomes subject to a different Privacy Policy.
  • Legal Requirements & Compliance: We may disclose your personal information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court or government agency).
  • With Your Consent: We may share your information for any other purpose with your explicit consent.

4. Data Transfer and Cross-Border Data Handling

As ChinaMVP.ai operates from China and serves overseas Clients, and facilitates interactions with End-Users in China:

  • Client Data: Your (as a Client) personal information may be processed and stored outside your country of residence, including in China.
  • End-User Data: Personal information of End-Users collected in China will be processed initially in China. We then transfer relevant End-User data (e.g., sales leads, customer interactions) to our overseas Clients, who are typically located outside of China.
  • Data Export Mechanisms: We strive to utilize legally compliant mechanisms for cross-border data transfers from China to overseas Clients, ensuring that adequate data protection safeguards are in place (e.g., standard contractual clauses, explicit consent, or other legal bases as required by Chinese data privacy laws like PIPL).
  • Client Responsibility: Our Clients are ultimately responsible for the processing and protection of End-User data once it has been transferred to them, and must ensure their own compliance with all applicable data protection laws, including any obligations under Chinese law for cross-border data transfer.

5. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Access & Rectification: You can request to access, update, or correct your personal information.
  • Deletion: You can request the deletion of your personal information.
  • Withdraw Consent: Where we rely on your consent to process your information, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time.
  • Data Portability: You may request to receive your personal information in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format.
  • Object to Processing: You may object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.

Please note that for End-User data, most requests will need to be directed to our Clients (the AI/SaaS companies), as they are the primary data controllers. We will assist our Clients in fulfilling such requests where necessary.

To exercise these rights, please contact us at the details below.

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

7. Third-Party Links

Our website and services may contain links to third-party websites that are not operated by us. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that third party's site. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of every site you visit. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

8. Children's Privacy

Our services are not intended for anyone under the age of 18 ("Children"). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under 18. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from children without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. We will let you know via email and/or a prominent notice on our service, prior to the change becoming effective and update the "Effective Date" at the top of this Privacy Policy.
